Rejess Marshall, Esq., MBA

Rejess Marshall, Esq. is an attorney, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Urban Juris, a legal lifestyle and streetwear brand created for the people shaping the future of the legal profession. Rejess earned a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, with concentrations in Business Law and Intellectual Property, Entertainment, Media & Sports Law, while working full time throughout law school. They also hold an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Management and a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. Before entering the legal profession, Rejess built a career spanning insurance, program management, corporate social responsibility, and organizational initiatives before expanding their work into corporate and commercial legal matters and entrepreneurship. That combination of experiences shapes their approach to law as both a profession and a tool that intersects with business, creativity, and community. Rejess is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is particularly interested in the ways lawyers can use technology, entrepreneurship, and nontraditional career paths to expand what a career in the legal profession can look like.

Rejess co-founded Urban Juris to create something they felt was missing from the legal community: a brand that speaks to lawyers, law students, aspiring attorneys, and legal advocates without asking them to leave their culture or personality at the door. Through apparel, educational content, events, and community engagement, Urban Juris brings a contemporary and culturally relevant perspective to a profession often defined by tradition. Rejess’ work with Urban Juris is part of a broader commitment to making legal knowledge and professional spaces more accessible, building community across different stages of the legal journey, and creating room for people to show up fully as themselves within the profession. Whether vending at a conference, participating in a panel, speaking with students, or connecting with other legal professionals, Rejess brings the perspective of someone who navigated law school while working full time, has built businesses from the ground up, and is intentionally creating a legal career at the intersection of law, business, technology, and culture.
